About the Book
On a mantle rests a red Coleman Lantern, a physical representation of the establishment in which it sits. The family-owned Red Lantern Bar and Grille is an institution in Mexico Beach, Florida, but when the economic recession of 2007 puts the livelihood of owners Greg and John Hughes in jeopardy, they will sink to new lows to keep the lantern aglow.
Driven by pride, and with the help of their childhood friend Stephen Sadler, who also happens to be the county coroner and owner of the town's funeral home, the Hughes brothers let lust, greed and pride reign, descending into madness to save their reputation. And as their sordid deeds unfold, there'll be grave consequences for the community.
